Try this recipe out if you’ve got some prosciutto hanging around and a cabinet full of Twinkies, because who doesn’t!

  • 1 Twinkies cake
  • 1-4 slices prosciutto

Carefully, very carefully, wrap the Twinkies until none of the cake can be seen.  This is important because the filling will burst out if you’re not careful here.

Prepare a grill with a combination of coals and wood chunks.  I use apple wood or cherry here to avoid an overpowering smoke.  Once ready, the wood and coals should be ashy, place the wrapped cake to the side and lightly grill until just crispy.


Let cool, fool so you don’t burn your mouth.

Eat, eat, and eat!  Goes well with wilted radish green salad and a great, thick rib eye.
