While not food related, I made this pipe to take advantage of a non-food crop I’ve been growing, tobacco.  This rustic, hand-carved pipe is made out of found wood on the property, an insect damaged stick from one of my Pecan’s and the bowl from a trimming I’d taken a few years ago from one of my maples. Rustic PipeThe stem and bowl contrast with two types of stain, ebony for the stem and a light color for the maple.Rustic PipeA view of the bowl with tool marksRustic Hand Carved PipeA view of the insect damage on the stem.
