Oh Pitaya blanca, you made me roar…uh that’s enough of that. Seriously though, I made a helluva fruit salad the other day with the snow-white flesh of this cactus fruit, a few red skinned bananas, and a grapefruit. Adding a little extra citric acid and just a touch of pectin to give some body to the juices created a great course for both breakfast and lunch.
As far as the roar…I did roar every time I ate some and had Oliver in stitches and tears he was laughing so hard. If only I could entertain everyone like I can entertain a 6-year-old.FYI, I’m not about to wait for my poop to dry to scavenge the seeds just to grind them into flour for a “second harvest“.
