I’m sipping on the best cocktail I’ve ever made. Ever. So I decided I had better revive this blog just to tell you about this shit. I’m not fucking with you, this shit is the best damned cocktail I’ve ever sipped on.
What is it? It’s smokey, bitter, sweet, salty, with just the tiniest hint of sour. How do I get so many damned flavors into one little tiny two ounce drink? Magic! No, not really, it’s just pure luck.
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked, sweet paprika
- 1 to 2 tablespoons salt cured lemon
- 2 oz clear, high quality alcohol – I used tequila
- pinch of salt
Add all the ingredients, except the salt, to a shaker full of ice and shake the shit out of it. Shake it until the shaker frosts over. Now pour it into your cocktail glass and add the pinch of salt; sit down and sip. And sip. And sip. Ponder life a little. Sip.
